Toni Farrell is a senior leader with deep expertise in investment risk, governance, and funds management, bringing over 20 years of experience across superannuation, financial services, and the public sector.
Toni specialises in embedding robust governance frameworks and risk disciplines that enhance investment decision-making and organisational performance. She has a strong track record of partnering with investment teams to align strategy with risk appetite, strengthen policy frameworks, and deliver data-driven insights to support executive and board-level decisions.
Prior to joining Quilla, Toni was Senior Manager, Investment Risk at Australian Retirement Trust, where she worked closely with investment teams to enhance governance, assess portfolio risks, and drive continuous improvement in risk culture. She also held senior roles within Queensland Health, where she designed and implemented governance structures during critical periods, including the statewide COVID-19 response.
Earlier in her career, Toni held a range of investment and funds management roles with organisations including Westpac Investment Management, Irish Life Investment Managers, RBC Dexia, and Suncorp. This experience provides her with a strong technical foundation across asset allocation, portfolio management, and investment operations.
Toni holds an Executive MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management (UNSW), along with degrees in Science and Statistics. She has also completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors course.
